Planning to come back...

I was looking for a central place where I could access the different businesses I had to visit. I had to work from home as well. What they call the Florida room has 2 sides all made of glass and a lot of light I found it to be an ideal as a place to work, to have meals and to relax. I had a nice view on the tropical greenery and trees around too, so this was definitively better than my usual office environment. Their business Comcast works fine, and the location is quiet and relaxing. Beaches are not far, for a quick swim. I ordered my groceries through Amazon and they were delivered in 1 or 2 hours. But there are plenty of nice places to dine or to get some food around, even at walking distance. I was a bit skeptical when I saw the pictures, but it turned out that the place to cook was OK. They have a convection oven to heat up pizzas or pastries and a microwave for other foods. There is a grill in the yard too, so that worked fine for me. I also cooked some pasta using their induction cooktop and it was convenient because it has a timer. It's an ideal solution for professionals like me staying for a couple of months. I would happily go there for a vacation too. The home is definitively not a typical rental, but it has a charm of its own and the price is very competitive, based on my previous experiences.

This is the second time I booked this place and I intend to book it again on my next assignment. The first time I liked the fact that their property management company organized a video tour of the property and I even got a discount from them.
I enjoy staying there and doing my work from home in the living room. It's all windows so I have the relaxing feeling of being outdoors in the beautiful tropical greenery while doing my work. They have a business Comcast Internet, so that worked fine for my me too. It's the perfect solution for those like me who work from home. The neighborhood is very residential and pleasant to take a relaxing walk. The kitchenette is small though, but I am not into cooking and they had everything I needed to prepare my meals. Although the place is part of a larger building, I didn't even notice the other neighbor who shares it. They have their own entrance and private yard on another street. It says it's a 2 bedroom but actually it's more a separable very large one bedroom with a king and a queen size bed. Their price was very competitive, especially when considering the location. I am not into ultra-modern stuff, and more looking at places with character, but I can imagine that someone who does would not appreciate as I do.
All in one, I was extremely satisfied and I look forward to book again on my next trip.

Great spot in the Grove

This property is in a great neighborhood location - great for walking - yet close (walking distance) to downtown Coconut Grove. Outdoor area is pleasant for sitting and reading or an afternoon cocktail. Kitchen was small but bathroom was huge. We are readers so really appreciated all the great floor lighting. Lots of great sunlight coming into the living room. Owner and maintenance guy were very friendly and worked hard and checked in to be sure everything was working for us. Was a bit concerned about the $1000.00 security deposit that we did not know about till after we rented - that info should come up front, but I think that is a VRBO issue and not the owner. Got deposit back in full so all ok. We would definitely stay here again.

The cool feature is that Pierre’s management company (Website hidden by Airbnb) organized a remote showing through Facetime. I could see the place in person and ask questions so when i checked in there was no bad surprise. I took advantage of their promo as well and i paid the price of a room in that expensive neighborhood a and got a nice apt for it. I really appreciated my stay and therefore I do recommend this place warmly with the caveats here below. I had 2 small Frenchies and they enjoyed the yard and walking around the beautiful neighborhood. I had an issue with the sink when i checked in but (Website hidden by Airbnb) sent a technician the next day. I wish i could book again on my next trip but the owner told me that they’re selling the place to move out around December and that’s why they have this promo. The kitchenette doesn’t have a stove/oven because of zoning issues, i was told. So it’s considered as a wet bar but in between the electric convection oven, the microwave, the induction cooktop and the grill in the yard, it was working just as well as a real kitchen. It’s small but very functional and has a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher too. However, people who want the classic kitchen may be disappointed. On the other hand there is a Fresh Market at walking distance or for a small fee with Uber and they have a nice bar. Their food is delicious and inexpensive. There is also a Flannighan at walking distance. Also, i was told it’s an ancient farm of the Grove, so people who like classical modern homes may not appreciate the charm like i did. All in one, it was a very good experience and i got something worth a lot more than i paid.
